Asia Trader And Investor Convention
This year the Asia Trader And Investor Convention will be held in Kuala Lumpur from 14 to 15 March 2009. I suggest that you go listen to some of the talks to gain better insights about investments.
There will be every types of talk ranging from property, stock, options, investing in wine, land banking, forex etc. Whether you are a seasoned investor or a newbie,
be careful and don’t get too excited about all these options. While this is the first time going for this particular convention, I reckon there will be quite a few of the people there trying to sell you their services later. These could be paid seminars or training programs and some of these people are great at marketing! Remember the first rule of investing.
The financial crisis at hand would have taught us not to be too creative in your investments. I think simple and boring do have a place, so go there to learn what you can but think twice when it comes to taking out your credit card.
I won’t be able to attend the whole session since I’m occupied Sat afternoon. So I’ll probably go for the morning session and perhaps some Sunday session. If you are going, give me a tinkle.
