Crisis, What Crisis?

Here is a story to remind everyone about the current financial crisis.

Muthu, a kacang putih man at a small town, sells kacang putih for many years. He has a lot of customers because his kacang putih is fresh and tasty. He also puts up a few signs near where he sells to increase his sales as part of his simple marketing strategy. Being uneducated, he does not know anything about the economy. He orders more stock to sell to replenish his stock.

No Crisis

One day, his educated son came back from overseas and told his father just how bad the economy is. He told his father that banks are closing, people are getting fired and everywhere, business is just plain bad.

Since his son is the educated and he believed his son, Muthu didn’t bother to put up his signs everyday, he ordered less kacang and started to work less hours.
