Prudential BSN Takaful
There is quite a lot of interest and questions about Prudential Takaful since its launch. In August 2006, Prudential BSN Takaful Berhad started as a joint venture between Prudential plc and Bank Simpanan Nasional Bhd.
In November 2006, it launched its first a Shariah-compliant investment-linked plan. Today, Prudential BSN Takaful Bhd offers a range of takaful savings, protection and investment products which have been developed with the unique needs of Bumiputra in mind. However the products are not only for Muslims.
Family takaful works on the basis of mutual help, where all the participants fulfill their obligation in the form of participative contribution (tabarru’). Simply put, part of your contributions in family takaful are used to help other participants who suffer a misfortune, such as death or permanent disability.
